Mrs. Balde, 79, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Dec. 21, 2013, in Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. Prior to her retirement 20 years ago, she was employed in the accounts receivable department at Navieras Corp., Edison, where she worked for 20 years. She was predeceased by her companion, William Lyon; and her siblings, Louis Frino, Antoinette Frino, Theresa Perusso, Marie Dodson and Jennie Frino. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Balde of Parlin, and John Balde and his wife, Theresa, of Bayville; a brother, Michael Frino and his wife, Virginia, of Manahawkin; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
